In case you missed the super awesome face book post I did have a little bit of a teaser for you guys today. And it was awesome. I yanked this little bit out of Eyes of Ember – the second in the Imdalind series and due out on April 6th 2013.
Now when you read this you may be thinking that I am giving a bit too much away and you would be WRONG. lol
Because were this goes is so perfectly placed that it isn’t what you really think it is – muhahahahaha I feel like some evil super villain conducting a torture experiment.
So here you go – a tiny little tidbit from Eyes of Ember to wet your palate
Everything seemed too raw, too real. I turned to Cail, my head held high, not wanting to give away that I was scared.
“You see Ryland there? Alive? His memories returned? You have exactly one month to turn yourself in before we dispose of him.”
“No!” I turned toward Ryland in a panic, but Cail’s arm held me securely in place. I fought against him, but his grip was too strong, his hold brutal against me.
“Panicked now I see, a little worried?” He pressed his cheek against mine, his body moving with me as I fought his grip. “Well you should be.”
“Joclyn, Run!” Ryland screamed at me but I barely even heard him over the scream that filled my ears.
